What a fantastic read!
I grew up on classic country music, so anything written by or about Dolly Parton is a must-read for me. This is the first book I’ve read where I tried to differentiate what portions of the story were written by which author. I couldn’t do it! It was very well written and the story was so captivating that I stopped trying to find which part was Dolly and which part was Patterson.
I love mysteries and this one didn’t disappoint. The story unfolded and I was anxiously turning pages wanting to know what was next. The characters were believable and well thought out, and you were rooting for everyone’s happily ever after.
If you love James Patterson, or if you love Dolly Parton, or if you love country music, or if you love a good mystery, or if you love being pulled deep into a story as you read it – this book is for you.
